Description

The MSR Evo Ascent Snowshoe Kit combines everything you need for tackling challenging winter and alpine conditions. It includes a pair of classic MSR Evo Ascent snowshoes, a pair of adjustable 3-section poles, and a full-featured storage bag.

The streamlined profile of the molded Evo Ascent snowshoes optimizes agility and efficiency by promoting a natural stride.The molded UniBody frames hold up to backcountry demands and the integrated traction rails and crampons tackle varied conditions. The pivoting crampon moves freely but is designed to not over rotate, allowing you to maintain a free range of motion without jeopardizing balance.

The three-forefoot strap binding ensures a secure and widely adjustable fit that accommodates a broad range of types of footwear. A heel strap further enables you to snug in the fit. On steep terrain, the Televator heel lifter can be easily pulled into position with a gloved hand to reduce calf fatigue and better distribute load across the entire frame.

The suggested weight recommendation for the 22″ snowshoe is 120-220 pounds. A modular design enables you to utilize the MSR Evo Tail (sold separately) when conditions and weight demand greater flotation.

Three-section, aluminum MSR DynaLock Explore Poles employ a simple-to-use external locking mechanisms and have a usable adjustability range of 39.5″ to 55″. Extended EVA foam grips with integrated straps provide confident hand holds. Long carbide tips deliver solid traction on trails, on soft ground, or in snow and broad winter baskets keep the poles from sinking too deeply into soft snow.

The included carry bag is constructed of rugged, abrasion-resistant nylon.The roll-top closure makes it easy to load and unloaded. Attachments on the exterior allow you to easily lash the poles and an integrated shoulder strap makes the bag easy to carry.MSR even throws in a small foam pad to serve as a dry seat in the snow!
